Crazy to think that a year has gone since our wedding. So much growth and change has happened since August 18, 2012!
This weekend we took a trip up to Mendocino to disconnect from the rest of the world and connect with each other. No computers (this was written in advanced, of course), television, or any other distraction. Simply time to celebrate and enjoy life :)
And we sort of kept with the paper tradition for first year. Finally having a book made of our wedding photos! And since our guests ate the whole wedding cake, I had a 6 inch version recreated for us to share. Honestly we barely got to eat any of our wedding cake the day of!

Happy Anniversary!!! I completely agree that you should keep with tradition each year to mark this wonderful day! We also follow paper, cotton, leather, etc etc, & like to revisit our wedding church & reception venue in Napa each year! And YES to the small anniversary cake too! So special (&tasty)! Enjoy!!!
