After being in the cold and windy rain yesterday, I am definitely ready for spring to arrive. Aside from weather, I love all the pastels, baby animals and gorgeous flowers that come with primavera.
Spring is all about fresh beginnings. If you ever feel like your life is cluttered and foggy, spring is a great time to re-organize and re-focus. Let the spring cleaning begin, I definitely plan to do so!
In the spirit of spring, I’m working on reviewing my “life” goals so to speak. I’m forcing myself to really consider what I want to do and will that make me happy. Nothing is worse than diving into a career only to realize it makes you miserable. I witnessed many people do that and I do not want to become one of them.
One of my newest hobbies is photography. I’ve become somewhat obsessed with taking pictures of everything, especially after borrowing a friend’s DSLR. I thinking of investing in a camera for the blog, traveling and everyday life.
It’s definitely time to refresh and get reorganized after the initial sprint of New Year’s resolutions. Let’s be honest we’ve all forgotten those! In what ways are you hoping to start off the spring season fresh? Honestly, I wish I were in Paris…

I love this post. I too am waittttttting for spring. Most of the snow melted yesterday and it made my heart happy. I am one of those people that need sunlight, warmth so winter is really hard for me. I’m so excited that you are working on photography because I am too! Your photos are gorgeous and I love your shoes!
Hi Camille! Not sure if you remember me, we went to elementary and middle school together :) stumbled across your blog from Facebook and had to comment to say I love it! As an avid baker and organizer I could easily sit here reading for hour and stealing (or being inspired by, rather) some of your wonderful ideas! I wish I had your knack and patience for decorating.. I haven’t even bothered to research design concepts and sort of just buy what I like and can afford, and I think you inspired me to try to decorate with a conscience! Very inspired by your refreshing attitude and outlook on life as well! Hope all is well with you!
Oh snow! That’s one thing I do not miss about Harvard. I missed so many classes because I was afraid to brave the snow. I’m glad you like the photos! I’m still in the amateur stages, but I love practicing :) Believe it or not my shoes were a random find at Forever 21 and they are so comfortable.
Of course I remember you! You’re a newlywed too right? So happy you found the blog and enjoyed. I started the blog after planning our wedding and needing to redecorate our new home. Most of my ideas are inspired by everyday life and discoveries. I’m all about being affordable and keeping things simple too. As you can tell I love color! For design concepts, Pinterest is my best friend, but also other bloggers. Let me know if you ever have questions!
